Our doors have industry standard top and bottom rollers, you must have suitable tracking to accommodate these rollers. Please contact us if you are unsure if your track is suitable, as we do not offer returns if your tracks are not compatible.
Suitable tracking can be purchased directly from Seconline; if you have purchased tracking please note that additional deductions must be made before providing the height of the opening. See instructions below for "Measuring Door Height with new tracking".

Option 1: Measure your existing screen door
Measuring from an existing screen door: If you have an existing door with the correct tracking (as per the diagrams above) and you are happy with the fit then we suggest that you measure these doors and use these measurements for your new doors.
Door Widths: Measure the top, middle and bottom widths of the screen door; send us the largest of the three measurements.
Door Height: Measure from top to bottom of the screen door on both the left and right hand sides; send us the shortest of the two measurements.
Lock Side: The lock side is determined from the outside looking in, with the doors in the closed position.
Lock Height: You can use the existing lock height if desired; first make sure that the new handle will not interfere with the existing glass door handle, do this by referring to the Lock Above & Lock Below instructions at the bottom of the page. Then measure from the bottom of the existing screen door up to the centre of the existing striker, this will be the centre of the new striker and screen door handle.
Note: All FLY range doors are supplied with a latch that is installed by the customer onsite when fitting the door.
Option 2: Measure from the tracks for your new doors
Door Widths: Measure the entire distance between the inside of the receiving channel (1.1) to the far side of the receiving interlock (1.2) that is located on the fixed glass panel. Add 70 mm and divide this number in two to give you your individual door sizes.
Note: We add the 70 mm as the doors will overlap in the centre and you will have less visual impairment if the two door frames are in line rather than a total of 140 mm.

Door Heights: Measure from the top of the bottom track to the bottom of the top track or the base of the top U channel and deduct 12 mm as per diagrams below. Measure at several points to be assured that there is no great variation. Use the shortest measurement for all.
If a variation of more than 4 mm exists this may result in the door not sliding properly, and additional tracking may have to be installed to make tracks parallel.

Measuring Door Height with new tracking:
Suitable tracking to fit Seconline sliding screen doors can be purchased from the addon section of the Product Builder; deductions must be taken from the overall height of the opening to accommodate this tracking.
The following instructions apply to the installation of tracking to a bare opening where no tracks are currently fitted.
Measure the height of the opening at three to four points along the opening; take this measurement from the bottom of the opening to the top of the opening. From the shortest length, deduct 8mm for the bottom pip track and 8mm for the top sliding track (total 16mm).
The Product Builder will display the following calculation for the standard height deduction; in this field enter the overall height of the opening less the 16 mm deduction detailed above. The site will then deduct the further 12mm to determine the correct height of the screen door.
Standard DeductionsBottom Pip Track: the height of the raised rail of this track is 8 mm.
Top Sliding Track: the height of the raised rail of this track is 8 mm.
Top H Track: Contact the Seconline office for further advice before purchasing this tracking 1300 735 405.
Interlocks
The two sliding screen door must interlock at the overlap to fully secure the system when locked. As the distance between tracks can vary your Seconline stacker doors are supplied with a frame interlock for each door as well as a 3mm and 7mm receiving interlock.
The 3mm or 7mm interlock is fitted to the non-active door to interlock with the active door.
When the active door is pulled across to the locking position it will "collect" the non-active door and engage it into the fully locked positional also.

No Receiving Interlock?
If there is no receiving interlock on the fixed glass panel frame you will be required to purchase and install one for the doors to accurately function.
Using the guide below ascertain what size receiving interlock you will require to suit your tracking then select this interlock as an Addon at Step 3 of the Product Builder.
Note: you do not need an additonal interlock to go in between the two sliding stacker doors as a 3mm and 7mm interlock is supplied with the doors automatically.
Measuring for a Receiving Interlock
If your doors do not have a receiving interlock on the fixed glass panels then it is necessary for you to install them, there are three different sized receiving interlocks:
InterlocksIdentifying precisely which receiving interlock is most suitable to your doors can be done using the following methods:
If the distance from the centre of the bottom track to the face edge of the fixed glass panel frame (1.7) is greater than 20 mm then a 7 mm offset interlock is required.
If the distance from the centre of the bottom track to the face edge of the fixed glass panel frame (1.7) is less than 20 mm and greater than 16 mm then a 3 mm offset interlock is required.
If the distance from the centre of the bottom track to the face edge of the fixed glass panel frame (1.7) is less than 16 mm then a flat interlock is required; if you find that you require a flat interlock you must add 10 mm to the width of each screen door.
1.7
Lock Height: Take your lock measurement from the top of the bottom track, to the centre of where you want your lock handle. This will also be the centre of middle lock striker.
This measurement needs to be a minimum of 120 mm above the top of your existing solid door lock (1.8) or 60 mm below the bottom of your existing door lock handle (1.9).
Note: All FLY range doors are supplied with a latch that is installed by the customer onsite when fitting the door.
