Q. Where do I measure for my window grilles?
A. Before you measure you need to establish where exactly how you are going to fix the screen to the window. There are two basic types of external fixing.
Recess fix: We do not recommend recess fixing security screens or diamond window screens. Our standard window grille frame is 11 mm thick at the outer wall, they may be fitted into the same recess on a window as a fly screen however they will not bend like a fly screen and as such can be difficult to install in this way. If you do decide the install the screen this way they can then be fixed in place by riveting or screwing to the window recess either internally or externally.
Face fix: The window screens can be simply fitted to the face of the window frame either internally or externally by drilling through the frame of the window surround and screwing or riveting in place. This is the recommended method of fitting security window screens and diamond screens. Great care must be given to not interfere with the operation of the window's action, E.g. Window spirals etc.
Q. What colours do you have?
A. Seconline's security screens, diamond screens and fly screens are available in 17 standard colours, the full selection can be viewed on the colour selector page of the Product Builder.
Q. What powder Coat colours do you use?
A. Colours are standard Interpon and Dulux Powder Coat colours.
Q. Can I have another Colour if I am willing to pay for it?
A. Yes. We powder coat non-standard colours for all our security screen doors and window screens (this does not include Diamond + Fly or Fly screen products). Select the "Non-Standard Colour" option from the colour selector page then find your required colour from the Dulux colour chart; enter the name and code in the field provided.
Q. Do Seconline make deductions for window screens?
A. No. The measurements you provide will be the exact size fabricated.
Q. Can you offer any suggestions to help gain accuracy with measurements?
A. Yes. Measure multiple times and perhaps have someone else measure as well. Remember we will supply the screen to the exact measurements you provide.
Q. What if my window is out of square?
A. Provide the smallest width and height measurement; we do not make window screens out of square.
Q. Do you install?
A. No, we are a supply only manufacturer based in Newcastle NSW, we do not have a measure and install service outside the Newcastle area.

Q. Does the window screen come with screws to fit?
A. No. You will require either 8-gauge screws if fitting to timber window frames or 4.0mm x 16.8mm aluminium rivets if fitting to aluminium window frames (these can be purchased in a pack of 10 from the Addons at Step 3 of the Product Builder).
Q. What is the size of the window frame?
A. The depth of the frame is 11 mm, the width of the face is 37 mm.
Q. Do you have a 9 mm security window frame?
A. No.
Q. Do you have a showroom that I can visit?

Q. How do your window screens compare with other similar products?
A. We offer no comparisons to any other similar products. Our products are as described. We stand by our quality, service and warranties as described.
Q. How long does it take?
A. Manufacture time is within 10 - 15 working days from receiving your measurements. Shipment usually takes one to four days. Once goods are dispatched with Regional Road Express you will be sent a dispatch notification.
Q. Can I pick up?
A. If you live locally yes, otherwise we ship Australia wide. We are in Newcastle NSW.
Q. Do you discount for multiple window screens?
A. No, however we can sometimes discount freight for multiple items (10 +); please contact the office.
